APSmart for iOS is a secure, mobile approval app for users of our CloudX’s SaaS Accounts Payable automation solution, APSmart. Through this useful app, users are able to access invoices waiting for approval within their own invoice queue, as defined by their APSmart administrators through invoice workflow configuration and ad hoc invoice assignment and delegation.

Invoices are submitted to APSmart directly by suppliers or via your Accounts Payable department, and then processed by CloudX. We capture all relevant data fields necessary to advance an invoice transaction and once it is ready for approval it will appear in your approval queue.

Once in your approval queue, you have the ability to review the invoice, GL code the invoice with your approved GL codes as defined by your APSmart administrator, and ultimately approve the invoice. Invoices necessitating multiple approvals will automatically escalate to the next approver as defined by the approval workflow configured by the APSmart administrator.

Approvers can work offline in addition to online by downloading a batch of invoices to GL code and approve. Once invoices are GL coded and approved, and connectivity is restored, all data will be synchronized and updated to your organization’s instance of APSmart. An output file will be automatically created in your organization’s accounting system and will be ready for payment, soon after an invoice has been GL coded and approved.
